About

Guidoscope is an open multi-language collection of step-by-step guides and instructions on a variety of topics. Our aim is to make it possible for anyone with a functional brain and arms screwed into correct places to be able to follow simple instructions written by other people.

Current state

The project is always evolving. We will gladly listen to your suggestions; moreover, we can always use your help.

Registration

Anyone can register. After that you will not only be able to read guides, but also write your own and vote on everyone else's.

Publishing your guides

Any registered member can create his/her own guides. You input your information step by described step; the guide will initially appear as a draft and only after you click on "Publish" will it appear in the commonly visible list.

Rules

Please try to structure your guides so that anyone performing the actions step by step would achieve the desired result. You are encouraged to use simple language, with minimum of slang. We will also harshly deal with any spam attempts.

Technical details

The project's engine is a rare thing, fully handmade by snaky, br0mberg and shredder_y in a tiny hut in Siberian jungle. If you know what LAMP means (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) - then you know what technologies are used.
