How to write your own guide
-
First of all, you need to sign in to Guidoscope or register new account if you haven't one yet.
-
Follow a link "Add new guide" in a menu on the right and enter a guide title.
-
Enter a new step of your guide and press the "Save" button. Your guide will be saved as a draft. You can use the following HTML tags:
<strong> <i> <a> <pre> <br> <code>
-
You can add as many steps as you wish until you decide your guide is ready for publishing.
-
You can also attach a picture to every step of a guide. To do this just press the "Browse..." button, find a file on your computer and press the "Upload" button.
-
It is strongly recommended to add several tags to your guide. To do this click "Add a tag" in the right menu and enter several space separated tags. To join several words in one tag, use double quotes: "Sample tag".
-
You can stop editing your guide at any moment and get back to it later. All unpublished guides are kept in "Your drafts" section.
-
When your guide is complete press the "Publish" button to make it visible for all visitors.
-
You can edit a guide after publishing it. You are the only person who sees the changes until the "Publish" button is pressed.
